We have a strong policy against all spams.
You will never know how many unwanted messages we've got to deal with on a daily basis for the 2 servers we are running. The thing is we hate spending our valuable time to screen those odd activities manually. In fact, we don't have enough manpower to handle everything diligently and attentively, so we had to create some sort of automated protection to sort out the unwanted advertisements as well as pointless duplicated posts.
Here're what we don't like;
Any registration attempts from Senegal; No intention to discriminate users from any specific location really. But, we've been through enough of the heirs of African Millionaire spams. Sorry dude.
No Ads to any other menus but Classifieds; Your advertisement is only allowed in our Classifieds section. period.
More than 3 duplicated messages going out to our members' guestbook or PM box in a row; Okay. this is the part you can call it overkill. (but, what's your point of sending off exactly the same messages to a bunch of members? Shouldn't we call it spamming?) With the current settings, the 4th attempt will shut your account down for 2 days.
We didn't really want to make any restriction here but, there're more than enough people showing lack of respect for our efforts, and thiking it's okay to abuse our system to get whatever they want.
